A Word of Encouragement
6:27, 31-33 ESV
"...And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?... Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
God has a word about worrying
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
God has not given us the spirit of fear
The LORD is near the brokenhearted; he delivers those who are discouraged.
Dealing with the loss of a loved one?
I am able to do all things through the one who strengthens me.
Here is a word of encouragement
"You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You-in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].
Only God can give you peace
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him.
Jesus knows the way,
because He is The Way
No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.
Struggling with breaking that habit?
Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God. The person who does not love does not know God, because God is love. By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent his one and only Son into the world so that we may live through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Love is the answer for all life's problems
Sing for joy, O heavens, and be joyful, O earth, and break forth into singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion upon His afflicted.
This can only be attained
in Jesus Christ
